Industrial Heating Elements Available specifications.
- Incoloy 800, 8mm ⌀ diameter.
- 4BA terminals by default, but can be spades, etc, if required.
- Straight length available between 12″ – 196″.
- Power rating are available from 250w – 6kW.
Industrial Heating elements are a resistance coil wire (producing heat), encased in magnesium oxide (the white powder, compacted by rolling down from 10mm to 8mm, for protection of wire & insulation purposes, bizarrely) encased in a usually stainless steel tube. Just for clarification, an Immersion Heater (see below) is 3 such elements on a screwplug with a terminal box housing the connections. Cuz we all speak diffrent! So, as we specialise in Immersion Heaters, it would seem rude not to also provide industrial quality heating elements as well.

Conclusion
Everybodies application is different and unique, so it is best we have a conversation. Shapes, as above, plus dimensions, are a starting point. Particularly important are the fixing centres, A in the images above, the distance between the terminating legs.
Also crucial is what is to be heated, as watt density will have to be appropriate for air, water, oil, etc. Operating temperature is key too, as anything over 100°C will require stood off terminations.
